hi my name is Chuck Pro home the graphics instructor here at like 3 and Technical Center I teach for different classes I teach a Photoshop video editing digital media production and Graphics I will start with Photoshop and video editing their 1 hour classes that are available to 9th grade to 12th grade in the class can be repeated so we'll we'll have second and third-year student along with first-year beginning students both classes are set up as a basic intro course Photoshop obviously we learn Photoshop we learn how to clip and cry photographs we learn how to set tax all the basic operations of Photoshop and then in video editing we mainly use Adobe Premiere and by the way all of the Moby licenses are I guess it's fine to student so you can load them on your home computer by taking my class you have the license to full license to the Adobe suite so you are where are working on a light version that can be loaded on the Chromebook from the school but if you have your own computer or laptop at home you can install the full version of Adobe use that unlimited lie and tell tell you're not enrolled in my class and so like I said there's there's no additional fees for that back to video editing we teach basic video not a lot of like camera work for sale but there is a lot of a video animations moving Graphics digital media per se then we get into my Graphics class and my Graphics class do you know we still learn a lot of Photoshop we learn there's more little more about the concept of design and we also output so we output to teach we can print our own t-shirts and we also output to a digital sign printer where we can make banners stickers vehicle wraps and and stuff like that digital media production is more on the video side then on the graphics side so we are using Photoshop and Adobe Premiere merge those two and we we create high-end video graphics videos also a lot of my students but not only my digital media students will help with Live Events throughout the school and we help the school scream our main job is we on the video display at the football games and I actually get to hire a crew and we also have a princesses that can come out and help us during the football games and actually do a live production he said that's mainly my digital media but I have students in all classes that can come out and help with that so depending on this year there's probably going to be a big need for streaming this year throughout the district's and I would imagine my class and my students highly involved in that nothing's really needed in here as far as something the student needs to buy or purchase other than this year we got to make sure but it comes with a set of headphones going to be the important part we won't need them first day I'll let everybody know on first day I used to have headphones that students could use but we've taken those out so you'll need to bring your own headphones another note I am the FBLA advisor here at Lake Croom Technical Center and FBLA is future Business Leaders of America you can see behind me oops I'm in and near here here we go somewhere over there there we go we were state champions in two different classes graphic design and digital media production in 2019 my Graphics graphic design students actually went to Nationals and play sports in the nation so we've become highly competitive I will talk to students about joining FBLA if you have my class it is it's highly recommended a lot of good things come out at field discuss that more when are first day the other thing that we have to make sure is you know when first day we're going to come in and we're going to make sure that everybody can you know get their Chromebooks in case Unfortunate Events do they have to close school again we're going to make sure everybody's ready on that for a couple days so if something were to happen the nice thing about this you know what Photoshop in most of my classes I've already spoke into Adobe they do have lighter versions as I said before that will load on Chromebook so we'll be able to keep moving forward the only thing that it would affect is obviously we wouldn't be able to print t-shirt to do science or stuff like that I really look forward to seeing you guys has been more since we've actually had students in the building so I know all of us are very excited to see you guys and can't wait to see what the year brings I know it's going to be but we're going to stretch through this and we're going to make the best of it thank you
