Culinary Arts with Mrs. Mallahan

is it just now and I in the culinary arts instructor here at Lake Career and Technical Center I teach the three classes that make up our department the first class is called exploring culinary careers it's a 1 hour one semester block class intended for freshmen and sophomores the next class is called intro to culinary arts it takes place during 5th and 6th hour it's a continuation of exploring culinary careers and the third class which is called culinary arts it's a three-hour block class for juniors and seniors should you stay with our program all three years and have the opportunity to get your Camden County food handlers card and your ServSafe manager certification in addition to that OTC offers dual-credit to us for taking High School classes on should you decide to attend OTC is culinary arts program after graduation should you stay with the program for all three years you will catch on everything from food safety and sanitation tonight skills to meet fabrication baking and pastry front of the house food and beverage service so we really have quite a lot in the three years that you might be taking these courses as far as this year goes which will obviously be just a little bit different few important things for you guys to arrange one is that Chromebooks will be you extensively and culinary arts this year freshman you will be issued from book the first week of school and you will definitely be needing that in our class sophomores to seniors you should still have your phone book the last year please bring those the first day of class charged up and ready to go and of course we can deal with it if you are missing yours or whatever the case may be but we will be using Chromebook earbuds and I found quite extensively so be prepared for that the final thing that you leaner is closer to shoes everybody will need those for kitchen work so if you are a sandal where feel free to bring closer to us and keep them in the classroom other than that if you have any questions for me prior to the first day of school don't hesitate to call lptc or email me at s malihan at Camdenton schools.
