Camdenton HOSA chapter members, Ellie Webb, Ryah Moore, and Faith Johnson, are raising awareness about human trafficking at the lake and in Missouri, along with the help of local law enforcement and the president of the Lake of the Ozarks Stop Human Trafficking Coalition, Crystal Lloyd. They have created a website, initiated a social media presence, taught future generations of health care providers what to look for and how to best intervene if they suspect human trafficking, in addition to fundraising. Despite COVID precautions and many snow days, they were able to raise $500 for Kids' Harbor with their initial fundraising efforts! Ellie, Ryah, and Faith would like to thank Jack's Sporting Goods for their assistance in providing t-shirts to help raise these funds.
HOSA students participate in community and fundraising events all year long. You can support HOSA students in the following events.
