Topics include: hardware (Motherboards, RAM, CPUs, Storage, & Peripherals), troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance of hardware and software, operating Systems and Software (Linux & Windows 7, 8, and 10), basic networking fundamentals, and security.

Topics will include: technologies (TCP/IP, OSI Model, Network Operating Systems), devices (Hubs, Switches, Bridges, Routers, Gateways), threats & vulnerabilities, security (Firewalls, Physical Security, Antivirus and Malware), incident response & forensics, risk management, securing data, ethical hacking, and applications.

Don’t just play video games; learn how to make them yourself! Students will use sound to enhance the gaming experience, create and animate sprites; l build challenging rooms and levels, and learn about the game industry and the careers within it. 1st year students will use GameMaker to create and program 2-D platform games. 2nd year students will use professional game package Unity3D to create and program 3-D games.
